MeitY, DoT working on indigenous chip for mobile phones: S Krishnan

NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Electronics (MeitY) and the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) are jointly working on an indigenous mobile chip that will be critical for ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ (self-reliant India) vision, a senior ministry official said on Monday.
