YouTube acknowledges blurry video issue affecting iPhone users
Google-owned streaming service YouTube has confirmed that it is aware of an issue about blurry videos. The platform has acknowledged the problem which is showing iPhone users some videos at 144p or 360p, even with a strong internet connection, resulting in a blurry picture. Users have also reported that increasing the quality causes the video to buffer. As per the user reports, the problem is occurring on iOS devices, desktop web browsers and smart TVs. Users took to the outage tracking site Downdetector and YouTube Help page to report the issue. However, YouTube said that it is currently investigating the issue and will fix it soon.
