Argentina suspends Telecom’s purchase of Telefonica unit

BUENOS AIRES: Argentina’s presidential office on Friday said it issued a preventive measure to suspend Telecom’s acquisition of Telefonica’s local unit, claiming the pending merger could lead to excessive market concentration.
