Bharti Airtel simplifies international roaming, eliminates need to buy country-specific packs

Bharti Airtel has enhanced its international roaming packs, priced from Rs 133 per day, by eliminating the need to buy country-specific plans for accessing mobile services.

“With plans starting at just Rs 133 a day, Airtel is offering affordable access while providing seamless voice and high-speed data connectivity in over 180 countries,” the telecom operator said. “Airtel has streamlined the process by eliminating the need for customers to navigate multiple packs for different destinations and lay-over countries.”

Instead, travelers can now select a single pack based on the duration of their journey, which will offer them seamless connectivity across the world at affordable rates. Customers can activate international roaming by logging into the Airtel Thanks app, the website, visiting any local store, or at airport kiosks to activate the plans.

Airtel’s new international roaming packs also offer an auto-renewal feature for frequent flyers, complimentary in-flight connectivity available with more than 30 days validity packs, updated billing details through Airtel Thanks App, and round-the-clock contact center support.

Airtel said it has strategically partnered with major telecom carriers in key countries such as the USA, the UAE, the UK, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Singapore, Canada, Australia, and more, to enable its subscribers to stay connected for making calls, surfing the web, or streaming content.
