Vodafone Idea shares rise 4% as telco rolls out 5G in Mumbai

Vodafone Idea shares surged 4.3% to a day’s high of Rs 7.41 on BSE on Wednesday, March 19, after the company announced the launch of its 5G services in Mumbai, promising ‘unmatched value’. Additionally, reports suggest that Vodafone Idea is in talks with satellite communication (Satcom) players, including Elon Musk’s Starlink and Amazon Kuiper.
