Google to pay $28 mn to settle claims it favoured White, Asian staff: A look at a female ex-employee’s legal battle

Alphabet-owned Google has agreed to pay $28 million to settle a lawsuit claiming that the tech giant favoured white and Asian workers by paying them more than other employees, reported Reuters.

The settlement agreement with Google had won preliminary approval last week from Judge Charles Adams of the Santa Clara County Superior Court in California.
