‘Meta will launch community notes-based fact checker in the US first’, says company’s senior executive

Technology giant Meta, which recently announced it will end third-party fact checking on its platforms, will roll out an alternative based on community notes in the US this month. However, the feature will only be rolled out to other countries like India after it has been tested, said Joel Kaplan, the company’s chief global affairs officer.
