Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang set to take stage this week to defend AI dominance, launch of Vera Rubin and more expected
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is expected to defend his company’s AI chip dominance at the upcoming annual software developer conference this week. This may happen as pressure on Nvidia’s largest customers to control AI costs has reportedly increased. Nvidia’s conference follows China’s DeepSeek’s announcement of a competitive chatbot, which caused Nvidia’s stock to drop.
According to a report by the news agency Reuters, Nvidia is also expected to reveal details of a new chip system called Vera Rubin at the conference. The mass production of the same is expected to begin later this year. This announcement may occur even as production delays affect the rollout of Rubin’s predecessor, a chip named after mathematician David Blackwell.
