Aadhaar verification delay in Tamil Nadu’s bid to curb minor access to real money games

Calcutta: A technical issue could pose a challenge in Tamil Nadu’s bid to implement Aadhaar-based user verification to prevent minors from playing online real money games.

The Tamil Nadu Online Gaming Authority has notified the Real Money Games Regulations, 2025 on February 12, which states that any minor under the age of 18 years shall be prohibited from playing online real money games.
