Late last year, Apple announced a significant expansion of its retail presence in India, confirming plans to open four new physical stores in Pune, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. The launch—or opening—seems imminent now according to a LinkedIn post from John Taffe, an Apple Store “leader,” who revealed the company’s intent to bolster its footprint in these key Indian cities with a massive hiring spree underway at the time of writing.
