Apple planning the “most dramatic overhaul” for iOS 19, iPadOS 19, and macOS 16

Apple is preparing one of the most significant software redesigns in its last decade, with iOS 19, iPadOS 19, and macOS 16, being overhauled dramatically, and it is poised to happen later this year.

The iPhone’s interface will undergo its biggest transformation in over a decade, with iOS 19 (codenamed “Luck”) featuring completely revamped icons, menus, applications, windows, and system buttons. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports the redesign will be the most substantial change to iOS since the introduction of iOS 7 in 2013.
