Apple kills these MacBook Air models to make way for more affordable M4 version: Details

Apple has officially discontinued last year’s M3 MacBook Air. The MacBook Air M2 from 2022 has also been retired. The development comes soon after the launch of the new M4 MacBook Air. The 2025 version may have the same design but it’s a whole different beast on the inside. Plus, with it, Apple is also returning to its roots in a way.

The MacBook Air was, at one point, the most affordable MacBook from Apple, that cost less than 1 lakh Rupees in India. But with switch to M2 and then M3, the prices started to creep up.
