Viavi to buy Spirent’s ethernet & network security business in $410 mn deal

NEW DELHI: Network test, measurement and assurance gear maker Viavi Solutions has signed an agreement to acquire rival Spirent Communications’ high-speed ethernet and network security business in a $410 million cash deal, with another $15 million to be paid at closing.
