iPad Air gets M3 upgrade, entry-level iPad with A16 chip tags along: Specs, India prices, and more

Apple launched two new iPads today. These are the seventh-generation iPad Air and the eleventh-generation iPad. The new Air is sequel to the model from 2024, while the base iPad refresh is coming after nearly three years. As expected, both iPads are getting a brand-new chip which is M3 on the Air and A16 on the base iPad. The choice of chip on the entry-level model means Apple Intelligence isn’t supported, which makes it the only Apple hardware launched recently to lack the company’s suit of AI features. The M3 Air will support them, much in the same way like the M2 version from 2024.
