Government panel pulls up railways and telecom for slow asset monetisation

A core group on asset monetisation has criticised the railways for its poor performance in monetising stations, passenger trains, and freight terminals, ToI reported. It has also expressed dissatisfaction with the tourism department for the slow progress in the Ashok Hotel transaction.
