Infosys layoffs: Nasscom defends tech industry, corporate culture of performance, meritocracy

In a response to the latest developments surrounding mass terminations of Infosys trainees, software and technology services industry body Nasscom has defended the technology industry of performance-driven hiring based on meritocracy and that the sector has always adhered to local laws.
