Google Drive now supports video transcripts for easier search and access

Google Drive has unveiled a significant enhancement, allowing users to access and search video transcripts directly on the platform. This new feature aims to improve the accessibility of video content stored in Drive and streamline the process of locating specific information within videos.

When playing a video with captions in Google Drive, a transcript appears in a sidebar adjacent to the video player. The transcript displays time-stamped text blocks, highlighting the currently spoken words, which allows users to follow along seamlessly.
