Bengaluru-based real estate company Adarsh Developers claims Amazon Web Service deleted data, causing Rs 150 crore loss

Adarsh Developers has lodged a police complaint against Amazon Web Services (AWS) and others, alleging violations of the IT Act and sections of the BNS related to fraud, cheating, and impersonation. Filed by the company’s CHRO, Sridhar Rajendran, the complaint claims that AWS mishandled its financial and customer data, leading to a loss of ₹150 crore. Adarsh Developers, a top real estate firm with a ₹2,100 crore turnover, has accused Amazon’s cloud services of mishandling its data.
