Apple removes its most advanced data protection tool as UK demands access to user data

Apple is pulling the plug on its most advanced, end-to-end encrypted security feature for cloud data in the UK after the government sought ‘backdoor’ access to user data. The Advanced Data Protection feature makes data available only to the account holders using end-to-end encryption.
