JioStar secures 11 major sponsors while Champions Trophy returns after eight years
JioStar, the official broadcaster and streaming partner of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, has announced a lineup of sponsors for the tournament.
The confirmed sponsors include Dream11, Pernod Ricard India, Beam Suntory, Kohler, Birla Opus, Vodafone Idea, ICICI Bank, LIC Housing Finance Limited, Eicher Motors, and Indira IVF.
“We are thrilled to bring the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 to millions of cricket fans in India, supported by a robust roster of sponsors. This tournament is poised to be a landmark event, and the enthusiastic participation of top brands underscores the unifying power of cricket. We look forward to delivering an unmatched viewing experience for fans and meaningful value for our partners,” Anup Govindan, Chief Revenue Officer, Sports, JioStar, said.
The Champions Trophy is returning after an eight-year break and is considered a ‘World Cup Lite’—a high-stakes tournament featuring the best teams in the world, sandwiched between two 50-over World Cups. With top sponsors on board, the competition is expected to attract significant attention from cricket fans and brands alike.
India will be looking to dominate the ODI format after missing out on the ICC World Test Championship final. England, after a disappointing World Cup exit, want to show they still have white-ball supremacy. South Africa, a team known for semi-final heartbreaks, now find themselves dealing with final defeats.
New Zealand aim to prove they are not in decline, while Afghanistan want to solidify their position as a serious white-ball team. Bangladesh hope to make it to the semi-finals of a major event again, and Pakistan will be eager to win on home soil as they host a major tournament after years.
With the ninth edition of the Champions Trophy starting today, the competition will engage audiences across India through brand activations and partnerships. The tournament will conclude with the final on 9 March, with all matches available on the JioStar Network and streamed live on JioHotstar.
