TRAI recommends bringing teleport operators, IXPs under authorisation regime
New Delhi: The telecom regulator has recommended that new telecom entities such as satellite earth station gateway, or teleport, providers and internet exchanges be regulated under the authorisation regime that it has already proposed for replacing the licensing regime.
