Meta announces world’s longest undersea cable to connect India and global markets

Meta- the social media giant, sees India as one of its top markets which is why it has some big plans for the country. According to a PTI report, Zuckerberg’s company has announced Project Waterworth, a major undersea cable initiative that will connect India to the world’s longest subsea cable.

When can we expect it to arrive?

Project Waterworth is expected to be operational by the end of this decade which is by the year 2039.
