Intel’s latest security update has this ‘big warning’ for AMD and Nvidia customers

Intel has called out the security of the products from rival brands AMD and Nvidia. In its Intel Product Safety Report 2024 claims that AMD and Nvidia products have a significantly higher number of security vulnerabilities compared to its offerings. The report alleges that AMD has over four times more firmware vulnerabilities, while Nvidia has 80% more GPU security issues. The report also highlights the performance of Intel’s internal security research team and talks about other competitor vulnerabilities.“The goal is not to compare vulnerability counts but to look deeper at the types of vulnerabilities and the foundational technologies they impact,” the company stated in the report.
