Scammers using ‘ digital arrest’ threats warns police

With rising cyber fraud cases, the District Administration and Police Department took a strong stand on digital safety during a high-level “Safer Internet Day” workshop held at Karim City College. The event saw participation from Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishore Kaushal, ADM Law & Order Aniket Sachan, SDM Dhalbhum Shatabdi Majumdar, and other senior officials. The workshop, organized under the aegis of the National Informatics Center (NIC), East Singhbhum, focused on the latest cyber threats, scams, and safety measures.
