Infosys fires hordes of trainees, says they failed to clear internal assessment

Infosys on Friday terminated around 700 trainees it had hired from campuses and off-campuses two-and-a-half years ago but onboarded last October, terming that they failed to clear an internal assessment programme, according to several affected people and an organisation that works with IT employees.
