Airtel net profit up 505% to Rs 14,781 crore; ARPU rises to Rs 245

NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel, country’s second-largest telecom service provider, reported a 505% surge in net profit, reaching Rs 14,781 crore for the quarter ending December 31, 2024.

The telco’s net profit was Rs 2,442 crore in the same period last fiscal. The company recorded a one-time gain of Rs 7,546 crore during the reporting quarter, primarily due to the consolidation of a majority stake in Indus Towers.
