Amazon to unveil next-generation Alexa AI this month

Amazon is gearing up to launch its new Alexa generative AI voice service, marking the most significant upgrade to the product since its initial introduction over a decade ago. The company has scheduled a press event for February 26 in New York to preview the new service.

The revamped AI service will be able to respond to multiple prompts in sequence and even act as an “agent” on behalf of users by taking actions for them without their direct involvement.
