‘Budget champ India can pull another DeepSeek on global AI’: Vishal Sikka

India should not “act just as a bystander” looking at what the US and China are doing in Artificial Intelligence (AI), said Vishal Sikka, former CTO of SAP and CEO of Infosys. Sikka recently met the prime minister Narendra Modi who has asked him to come on board as an advisor to the India AI Mission and help guide India’s AI strategy, he told ET in an exclusive interview.
