OpenAI launches ChatGPT for government: How it is different from regular version

OpenAI is making a major push into the government sector with the launch of ChatGPT Gov, a customised version of its AI chatbot designed specifically for US government agencies. This new platform reportedly prioritises security and allows agencies to input sensitive data while adhering to strict privacy and compliance requirements.

As per OpenAI CPO Kevin Weil, ChatGPT Gov will allow government agencies, as customers, to feed “non-public, sensitive information” into OpenAI’s models while operating within their own secure hosting environments.
