Google reclassifies US as ‘sensitive country’: What this means

Google has reclassified the United States as a “sensitive country”. This designation, typically reserved for nations with strict governments or border disputes, comes in response to the administration’s recent decision to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the “Gulf of America” and Mount Denali to Mount McKinley, a report said.

Citing an internal correspondence, CNBC reported that Google Maps division received a “P0” priority order to implement these changes, reflecting the urgency and importance of the request.
