Vodafone Idea shares end 9.1% higher on AGR relief news
New Delhi: Shares of Vodafone Idea surged 10% intraday, before closing 9.1% higher Monday on an ET report that the government is considering a proposal to waive 50% of interest and 100% of penalties and interest on penalties that make up a bulk of the adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues that were levied on telcos after the 2019 Supreme Court order.
