Swiggy launches Swiggy Sports, expands into sports industry

Swiggy has established Swiggy Sports Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary, following approval from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on January 15, 2025. This marks Swiggy’s entry into the sports sector.

The new subsidiary will focus on team ownership, talent development, event organisation, facility management, broadcasting, and securing sponsorship rights. The goal is to create business models that promote and support sports.
