Meta India official apologises for Mark Zuckerberg’s India election remark

Meta India official has apologised over CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s Indian elections remark. This comes a day after Zuckerberg comments about Lok Sabha election results in 2024 invoked strong criticism in India.

Appearing on the Joe Rogan podcast, Zuckerberg claimed that incumbent governments in many countries, including India, lost elections following the Covid-19 pandemic due to their handling of the crisis.
