PhonePe sharpens quick commerce play in first for a payments company
Walmart-backed PhonePe has become the first payments firm to take a stab at the buzzy quick commerce market, as it sees rapid delivery as a major area of growth in the next two years amid plans for a public listing in 2026, sources said. This is the third attempt from the firm to have a go at online retail.
