Grok 2: Elon Musk’s xAI breaks free from X with new standalone AI app on iOS

Elon Musk’s AI startup, xAI, has officially launched the second version of its AI-powered assistant, Grok, now available as a standalone app for iOS. This new release allows users to access Grok’s features without requiring an X (formerly Twitter) subscription, marking a shift away from its original integration within the social platform.
