ChatGPT used to plan Tesla Cybertruck explosion: What did bomber ask the AI chatbot

A Tesla Cybertruck explosion outside Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas on New Year’s Day was planned using ChatGPT, marking the first known case of the AI platform being used to orchestrate an attack on U.S. soil, law enforcement officials revealed Tuesday.

Matthew Alan Livelsberger, 37, queried the AI chatbot for information about explosives, ammunition velocity, and ways to circumvent laws regarding materials acquisition, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Sheriff Kevin McMahill.
