Microsoft has a ‘Google trick’ to keep people using its Bing search
Microsoft has implemented a new feature in Bing that displays a Google-like interface when users search for “Google.” When users who aren’t signed into a Microsoft account search for “Google” on Bing, the search engine presents a modified interface that closely resembles Google’s homepage.
The page automatically scrolls the page to partially hide the Bing logo while displaying a search bar beneath an image reminiscent of Google’s signature doodles. The interface even includes familiar Google-style subtext beneath the search bar, further adding to the similarity.
