Govt achieved several firsts in 2024 including approval of four semicon projects: Meity

The ministry of electronics and information technology said approved four semiconductor development projects during the calendar year 2024, which included one chip fabrication project and three chip packaging units, it said in a note highlighting several firsts, especially in information technology and electronics manufacturing, safe and trusted AI development and deployment, digital skill development, and the expansion of the language-translation platform Bhashini.
