Bharti Airtel to refarm spectrum for 5G expansion
Kolkata: Bharti Airtel has embarked on a spectrum resources optimisation strategy by refarming 4G spectrum, primarily in the 2300 MHz, 1800 MHz and 900 MHz bands, to boost 5G coverage and capacity in most state and rural (B&C) circles where it foresees a spurt in demand for the next-gen mobile broadband service in 2025.
