WhatsApp to stop working on older Android devices from 2025. Will your phone still be compatible?

Meta-owned WhatsApp has decided to end support for older Android devices from 2025. Starting January 1, WhatsApp will cease to work on Android phones running on Android KitKat or older versions. The new change would mean that people using older Android models will need to upgrade their phones in order to keep using the personal messaging app.
