YouTube has just signed a partnership that may help it to solve ‘biggest AI problem’ of celebrity videos
YouTube has partnered with the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) to develop tools that will give creators and artists more control over how AI is used to depict them on the platform. The partnership will allow several influential figures to access early-stage technology designed to identify and manage AI-generated content featuring their likeness. These figures will provide feedback to help YouTube build its detection systems and refine the controls. Earlier this summer, YouTube announced plans to develop tools to give creators and artists more awareness and control over how AI is used to depict them. This move comes after AI-generated videos of Bollywood stars and other celebrities plagued the Google-owned video streaming platform earlier this year.
