MCA slashes penalty on iPhone maker Wistron

New Delhi: The corporate affairs ministry has slashed the penalty imposed on Wistron Infocomm Manufacturing (India) and its key personnel by 72%, taking a lenient view of the failure of Apple’s contract manufacturer to appoint a company secretary on time in breach of company law provisions.
