India’s 6G technology ambitions run into funding challenges

Kolkata: India’s ambition to own at least a tenth of 6G technology patents globally looks challenging as the country has yet to secure billions of dollars in funding for 6G research and upgrade existing 4G/5G networks to support the sixth-generation wireless broadband technology, analysts and industry experts said.
