App Store 2024 award winners: Apple names Kino as iPhone app of the year

Kino, an app designed for videographers to get more out of their smartphone cameras, has been named Apple’s iPhone app of the year. The list announced by the tech giant on Wednesday, December 11, also highlighted AFK Journey as iPhone Game of the Year, alongside winners of other categories.

“From solo entrepreneurs to multinational teams, these App Store Award winners were chosen from 45 finalists by App Store Editors for demonstrating the highest levels of user experience, design, and innovation,” the company said in a press release.
