Apple MacBook Pro may ditch the notch in upcoming redesign

Apple is set to refresh its MacBook Pro display technology, with plans to introduce OLED screens and eliminate the controversial notch design by 2026, according to a roadmap from research firm Omdia.
The upcoming 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models will mark a significant departure from the current mini-LED displays, transitioning to advanced hybrid OLED technology similar to that recently introduced in the iPad Pro. Most notably, Apple will replace the existing notch cutout with a more streamlined hole-punch camera design, potentially increasing usable screen real estate and creating a more seamless display experience.
