IT counts on higher client spend to log faster growth

India’s $254-billion software services industry expects an uptick in budgets in the new year, industry executives told ET, after a protracted squeeze had prompted locally listed outsourcing majors to go slow with jobs and focus instead on margins to stay in the radar of investors.
