I tested Wi-Fi on a New York to Delhi Air India flight: Here’s my experience

When I recently boarded an Air India flight from New York to Delhi, I was constantly chatting on WhatsApp without even realising I was on a flight. While most passengers were either asleep or glued to their screens, I was making the most of my experience on the newly introduced Airbus A350, enjoying the free, complimentary in-flight Wi-Fi. I have been using Wi-Fi on planes more frequently in recent months, as more airlines are now expanding their in-flight entertainment offerings 36,000 feet above the ground. This is great news for people like me who frequently fly for work and need to stay in touch with the office or family during long-haul journeys.
