IndiaAI mission: Jio, Yotta, among 19 bidders to provide compute infra

Jio Platforms, Tata Communications, Yotta Data Services, E2E Networks were among the 19 companies to have bid for the government’s tender to procure 10,000 graphics processing units (GPUs), according to a government release on Tuesday.

The overall project cost is Rs 10,000 crore for the IndiaAI mission and out of that the government has earmarked Rs 5,000 crore to create compute infrastructure.
