AI compute infra: L&T, Jio, AWS place bids

Over 30 companies, including L&T-E2E consortium, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Jio, Google and Hiranandani-backed Yotta, have submitted bids for the Rs 5,000-crore AI compute infrastructure project under the Rs 10,000-crore IndiaAI mission, sources said.

Thursday was the last date for submitting bids. As part of the IndiaAI mission, the government will eventually create a capacity of about 10,000 graphic processing units (GPUs).
