Spotify, the most popular music-streaming platform in the world, has taken a strong stance on piracy and has banned all modified apps. According to a Reddit post, Spotify has made API-level changes, which ensure the service will only work on the genuine app. This strike comes just a few days ahead of Spotify Wrapped 2024, where the music-streaming service offers an annual report of users’ music listening patterns and includes details like most listened-to songs, favourite artists, albums, and more.
